COP92 is currently ongoing, in Baku, Azerbaijan, in Western Asia. ICARDA is proud to participate with a high-level delegation led by its Director General, Aly Abousabaa.

In December 2024, Saudi Arabia will host the global desertification conference COP16 of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification. ICARDA is proud to participate with a high-level delegation.

After CGIAR's Science Week had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, the event has been rescheduled and will take place from 7 - 12 April 2025 in Nairobi. Further updates will be available on CGIAR’s website soon.
