10th World Water Forum
Along with CGIAR water researchers, ICARDA will be attending the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, Indonesia, from May 18-25, 2024. The Forum is world’s largest water-related gathering and is held every three years by the World Water Council (WWC) and a hosting country. This global event brings together stakeholders from around the globe, including heads of state, high level government officials, representatives of international organizations, academia, civil society and the private sector, with the common objective to share knowledge, experience, and best practices on integrated water resources management.
The WWC’s overarching mission is to gather the international community to convey to decision-makers that water is a political priority for the sustainable and equitable development of the planet. ICARDA became a member organization of the WWC in 2023.
