Objective: 

To transfer knowledge on geoinformatics science, technologies and applications in geographic data management.

Expected Output:

A well trained specialist in geographic data management can able to apply the skills and knowledge to create, organize, manage GIS/RS/Geotagged data and developed spatial data repository to serve agricultural research and development in Libya.

Expected Outcome:

Enhanced research work efficiency, and improve science quality spatial data management of the participants and their respective departments.

ICARDA at Agri4D 2025

On 23 September 2025, ICARDA will take part in the symposium “A Decade of Swedish–African Collaboration in Agricultural Science for Development in Africa,” held from 09:00 to 12:00 at Loftets hörsal, Campus Ultuna, Uppsala, Sweden. The symposium is one of two side events to the Agri4D 2025 conference hosted by SLU.
