Webinar on Scalable Agri-Solutions for the Global South

In celebration of United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation, ICARDA is joining ICRISAT’s webinar “Scalable Solutions for Crop Improvement and Production Technologies for the Global South” on 12 September 2025 (8:30–10:30 GMT). The event will open with remarks from QU Dongyu, Director General of FAO, and Ismahane Elouafi, CGIAR’s Executive Managing Director, and will feature ICARDA’s Director General Aly Abousabaa and Dr. Augusto Becerra, DDGR, alongside CGIAR experts and NARS partners, to discuss scalable research and technologies that strengthen crop improvement and food systems across the Global South.
