He highlighted ICARDA’s efforts to make precision agriculture accessible to smallholder farmers using open-source, low-cost tools powered by AI and IoT to deliver smarter irrigation, fertilizer, and risk management solutions that improve productivity, income, and sustainability in dryland regions.
