Field Day 2023
ICARDA, in collaboration with the Institut National de Recherche Agronomique (INRA), our primary research partner in Morocco, is co-organizing their annual Field Day on May 16 2024 at the Marchouch research farm, located approximately one hour's drive from Morocco's capital Rabat. This farm, jointly run by ICARDA and INRA, serves as a hub for innovative research and development, addressing the various challenges faced by Moroccan farmers.
During this event, we will engage with our partners, including donors, farmers, and key stakeholders in Moroccan agriculture. Our focus will not only be on discussing agricultural innovations and new technologies, but also on celebrating the power of agricultural research. The program will commence with a welcome address and machine demonstrations, followed by a farm tour where our guests will learn about our research accomplishments.
To conclude the Field Day, a traditional field lunch will be served by women cooperatives, who are our esteemed partners.
