The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) funded SOILS4MED project will be officially presented at the 11^th Global Soil Partnership (GSP) Plenary Meeting of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) during the Soil Partners’ Day on 13th July 2023, 11.00-12.00 CEST.

The session “Towards Systematic Soil Health Monitoring in the NENA Region” is organized and led by SOILS4MED partners, the Institute of Soil and Water Resources (SWRI), ELGO DIMITRA, the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA Morocco), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), and participated by the EU Joint Research Centre (JRC), the University of Sassari (UNISS), Direction des Sols – Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries (DGACTA).

The Forum on Fostering Interregional Collaboration on Sand and Dust Storms will be held on 7–8 October 2025 at the United Nations House in Beirut, Lebanon. Organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), with the support of the Government of Sweden, the Forum is part of the United Nations Decade on Combating Sand and Dust Storms (2025–2034)
