Symposium of NENA Regional Network for Evapotranspiration
Within FAO’s NENA Water Scarcity Initiative (WSI), ICARDA, in collaboration with FAO and specialized institutions in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia, has established and operated an ET measurement network since 2020. The NENA ET-Network aims to build a common regional understanding of the ET field measurements.
A regional hybrid symposium will be organized in Rabat, Morocco, from 7 - 8 December 2022 to bring together implementing partners, regional and international experts, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of ET measurement and RS and recommendations for the way forward. It will also provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the most recent innovations and solutions adopted in ET and RS.
Prospective participants are kindly encouraged to contribute by submitting their abstracts for oral presentations. Also, high-quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in areas of ET and RS are cordially invited for presentations at the symposium.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the accepted presenters will be informed by 24 November 2022, and the invitation letters will be sent accordingly.
