ICARDA at “From Seed to Pasta 5”

ICARDA is pleased to announce its participation in the 5th International Conference From Seed to Pasta (FSTP5), organized by the University of Bari. The event is taking place from 24–27 September 2025 in Bari, Italy. This premier scientific gathering brings together global experts to explore cutting-edge research and innovation across the durum wheat value chain, from genetics and breeding to sustainability, nutrition, and market opportunities. The conference provides a vital platform for advancing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and shaping future strategies for resilient food systems.
ICARDA’s Deputy Director General for Research, Augusto Becerra, will deliver a keynote speech highlighting the role of durum wheat in the Global Drylands Strategy. In addition, ICARDA scientists will present eight different presentations on their latest research findings, reflecting on ICARDA’s strong commitment to climate-resilient agriculture, innovative breeding, and sustainable development.
