ICARDA at COP 30
  ICARDA, under the CGIAR umbrella, will participate in the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil — in the heart of the Amazon — from 10–21 November 2025 to spotlight the vital role of food, land, and water systems in achieving global climate goals.
Representing ICARDA, Dr. Augusto Becerra, Chief Scientist and Deputy Director General for Research, will join the CGIAR delegation to showcase science-based innovations for climate-smart agriculture that strengthen resilience in dry regions and beyond.
