Global Green Growth Week
Hosted by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Global Green Growth Week (GGGWeek) is GGGI’s flagship global conference dedicated to advancing green and sustainable development.
In 2025, GGGWeek will take place from October 27 to 31 in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together global leaders, practitioners, and partners to foster dialogue and collaboration around innovative green growth solutions. Scheduled alongside APEC 2025 Korea in Gyeongju, this year’s edition provides a timely platform to spotlight bold ideas, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate collective action on climate and development.
A delegation from ICARDA, led by Director General Aly Abousabaa, will participate in the event.
As part of Adaptation and Resilience Day on October 28, Mr. Abousabaa will join a high-level panel discussion on desertification, while Dr. Vinay Nangia, Research Team Leader for Soil, Water, and Agronomy, will contribute to a panel discussion on “Adaptation and Resilience: Scaling Nature-Based Solutions and Climate Change Adaptation through GGGI’s Value Chain.”
