ICARDA is excited to participate in the Agriculture Research Center Conference and Exhibition: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Towards Sustainable Agricultural Development, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and the Agricultural Research Center (ARC), taking place from 27–28 May 2025 in Cairo, Egypt.

The event will bring together governmental and non-governmental organizations, research institutions, and the private sector to explore the latest trends in agriculture, sustainability, and innovation and connect with leading experts in the field.

On the second day ICARDA will join, Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), ACSAD, WorldFish, and Agricultural Export Council  in a session titled “The role of international organizations in cooperation to develop the agricultural sector.” The session will explore how international bodies can join forces to advance agricultural development in Egypt and beyond.

ICARDA will showcase its cutting-edge agri-innovations for drylands at its booth and share impactful research-for-development initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to reaffirm ICARDA’s commitment to delivering resilient livelihoods for farmers in the dry regions where we work, in the face of intensifying climate change.
