The 7th Pan-African Conference on Agricultural Engineering

The 7th Pan-African Conference on Agricultural Engineering, organized by ANAFIDE and the Pan-African Society for Agricultural Engineering (AfroAgEng), is taking place from October 22 to 24, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel in Fez, Morocco, under the theme: Water Management for Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture in Africa.

ICARDA will lead the Soil and Water Conservation sub-theme and convene a technical session on October 23, 2025, from 10h30 to 12h30, titled “Use of Green Energy in Sustainable Agriculture Water Management in Africa”, chaired by Dr. Krishna Devkota. The session will highlight ICARDA’s efforts to leverage green energy to address climate change and will explore the challenges of scaling the green transition.
