About Antoine

Antoine Millet is an Artificial Intelligence Officer in ICARDA’s MEL team, based in France. Antoine’s expertise is in AI and Product Development, contributing to the development of AI-powered tools for MEL. He is working on an AI-matchmaking tool that uses NLP to provide quick understanding of stakeholders and technologies based on user-given context and data mining from specified databases. He also developed ontology systems for ICARDA actors to understand better Theory of Change terms in the CGIAR context. Before joining ICARDA, Antoine directed and produced a documentary on the agricultural state of the South-West Region in France called "Des Fermes et des Hommes". His prior experiences also included work in Research & Development on AI applications for Healthcare, where he developed algorithms for fall predictions and published "Machine Learning Techniques Applied to the Development of a Fall Risk Index for Older Adults" for the IEEE journal. Antoine holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College of London. He speaks English, Spanish and French.
