Svetlana Saakova

Svetlana Saakova is the Research Software Development Coordinator at ICARDA’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Team, and she is based in Uzbekistan. She coordinates digital product development and quality control,  acting as a liaison between clients, donors, and development teams across geographic and time-zone boundaries. Svetlana also works closely with the corporate functions to ensure alignment with internal procedures. Her main motivation is to deliver technologies that positively impact research and society.  

Her previous work experience includes full event life cycle ownership from planning to post-event evaluation and reporting stage, digital conferences organization, and supervision of joint cross-functional projects.    

Ms. Saakova holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Audit and speaks English, Spanish, German and Russian.
