Sara Jani

Sara Jani is the Knowledge Management Coordinator at ICARDA’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Team. She is based in Canada. She provides support and training to ICARDA staff. She is responsible for the quality assurance and management of ICARDA knowledge products, ensuring compliance with FAIR principles, recording ICARDA projects, and coordinating the contribution of the ICARDA & CGIAR curator team to the FAO-managed AGROVOC. Furthermore, she is involved in several knowledge management activities related to the FAO-AGRIS and coordinating the CGIAR center’s content submission (OAI-PMH) endpoints to AGRIS. 

Previously, Sara worked for the ICARDA’s CGIAR Research Program on Dryland Systems and Integrated Water and Land Management and has a vast knowledge of both the non-profit and private sectors. 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Sara speaks English, Arabic, and Turkish.
