Asma Souissi

Dr. Asma Souissi is an agricultural Economist. She holds a PhD in agricultural science and environment from the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott Meriem (Tunisia). She also holds an international master's degree in agro-food marketing from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (Spain). Before joining ICARDA, she worked as a research assistant at the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott Meriem (Tunisia) and as an international consultant for the International Trade Center (ITC), which is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
